Marjorie Long has a passion to equip the Church and assist believers in understanding their life’s purpose. Her desire is to further believers’ intimacy with God and demonstrate God’s goodness everywhere she goes.

Marjorie is the executive director of Gloria in Excelsis Deo (Glory to God in the Highest), a 501C3 non-profit corporation founded in 2007. In the 1990’s Marjorie was the prayer coordinator and an adult bible teacher in a local church. She was then appointed the Grand Traverse county regional prayer director for Church of the Bay, a coalition of area pastors crossing denominational lines, both evangelical and charismatic. As such, she held weekly prayer gatherings for the region for many years. During those years Marjorie partnered with a local pastor in leading the Global Day of Prayer and Dunamis Conferences, a ministry under Presbyterian / Reformed Ministries International. For over 15 years Marjorie was aligned with Apostle Barbara Wentroble, International Breakthrough Ministries out of Texas.

Currently Marjorie is northwest Michigan’s area representative for West Michigan Prayer Center (WMPC) led by apostle Anita Christopher and located in Grand Rapids. Each week she joins their prayer team where the focus is on the region, state and nation. WMPC is connected with the national prayer ministry Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network. On-site prayer assignments are organized through WMPC and HAPN.

Marjorie is aligned with Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network (HAPN), founded by Dr. John Benefiel and headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. HAPN has united  leaders from all 50 states, 54 foreign nations, and 22 first nations to work together to impact America and the nations for the kingdom of God.

Marjorie is co-leader for HAPN for the state of Michigan with apostle Anita Christopher and apostle/prophet/pastor Ed Watts. Marjorie was commissioned an apostle by Dr. Benefiel in 2017.

Marjorie is a member of Breakthrough Apostolic Ministries Network (BAMN) led by apostle Barbara Yoder. BAMN is a network of pastors, ministry leaders and marketplace leaders. Barbara Yoder is the apostle and founding pastor of Shekinah Regional Apostolic Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

She has lived in the Traverse City, Michigan area for over 30 years and attends Fresh Wind Christian Community in Interlochen.
